Honey Garlic Shrimp

Serves: 4
  • 1 pound large peeled and deveined uncooked shrimp
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1-2 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish, optional
  1. Place shrimp in a large resealable bag.
  2. Add honey, soy sauce and garlic to a small mason jar. Add lid and shake well until blended.
  3. Pour half the sauce in with the shrimp and toss to coat.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add shrimp discarding marinade and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until shrimp is cooked thoroughly.
  7. Toss cooked shrimp with reserved marinade.
  8. Garnish with chopped herbs and serve immediately.
